
Shopping Cart (Credit Card or PayPal) - There are several options for payment. Either click on the 'add to cart' button to add the item to your shopping cart. You can then either carry on shopping or make your payment. To make a payment, you have two options: pay by credit card or pay by PayPal. I accept all major credit cards, including AMEX. Credit card payments are processed by Protx secure payment (the preferred choice of several high street banks). This is the easiest, quickest and safest way to pay. If you have a PayPal account, and you would like to pay using this method, please click on the PayPal link. As payment is instant for both services, your order will be processed immediately.
Telephone (Credit Card) - The third method of payment is to call the Lilia N Designs free phone orderline, on 0800 0380 103 (open 7 days a week between 8am - 10pm BST. If there is no answer, please leave your name and telephone number on the answerphone and I will call you back). I can process and approve your card details instantly. Again, your order will be processed immediately. You may also use this number for order requests and enquiries such as custom orders, deadlines, and specific delivery requests.
Cheque - For customer's who prefer to make payment by cheque [check] or cash (sent at the customer's own risk), the item will be sent as soon as the payment has cleared (normally 5-7 days). Please go to the paying by cheque page for further details.
Packaging - I take great care in packaging your item, to ensure your jewellery is not damaged during transit. I supply a beautiful organza bag and luxury gift box with all orders, and a complimentary chocolate!
Gift Wrap - Items can be gift wrapped in luxury handmade paper, and a message card attached for an additional £3.50. If you require this service, please include your message (no more than 30 words) for the card in the box below and click on the 'add to cart' button, to add gift wrap to your shopping cart. Please note that gift wrap is not refundable.

Delivery - Orders received before noon (BST) will be sent the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be sent the following working day, unless stated otherwise in the item description (some designs can take up to 2 weeks to make and dispatch). For customers in the UK and Northern Ireland, orders over £75.00 are sent postage free by Royal Mail 'Special Delivery'. For the rest of the world, orders over £95.00 are sent free of charge by Airsure delivery. All orders under £75.00 are sent by 'Special Delivery' - guaranteed to arrive by 1pm the next working day after the parcel is dispatched, at a cost of £4.75 (Royal Mail increased their charges on 2 April 2007). All overseas orders up to £95.00 are sent by 'Airsure' (please allow 5-14 days for your package to arrive) at a cost of £6.75 for Europe and £9.00 for the rest of the world. Postage costs do not include possible custom charges for your country. Please contact your customs office for further information. Please also note that 'Special' delivery covers items lost or damaged up to the value of £500.00 and for 'Airsure' any specified value. For all these postage options you will need to sign for your item on delivery.
All of my jewellery is handmade to the highest standard. Many components used are also handmade or handcut, without use of machinery. Therefore small imperfections should be expected. Indeed, these add to the uniqueness and charm of each piece.
Website purchases - I understand how difficult it can be to buy from the internet, and your satisfaction is very important to me. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase (for whatever reason) you can return the item/s undamaged and with the security tag attached within 14 working days of receiving the item/s for a refund or exchange.
Before returning the item/s, please notify me via the contact form on this website or by telephone (0800 0380 103). I will send you full instructions on how to return the item/s to me. Items sent back without prior approval may be returned to the sender.
Please note that sale items cannot be returned or exchanged after 14 working days of receiving the item/s.
Breakages - In the unlikely event of a breakage due to my workmanship, a full refund or exchange will be offered within 30 days of receipt. Otherwise the item will be repaired free of charge within one year of purchase. Items damaged through misuse, neglect, accident, or by 'normal' wear and tear cannot be refunded, but can be repaired for an additional charge. Please note that regularly worn bead-strung pieces should be restrung ever 6 months or so, to avoid breakages. I can restring pieces from £5.
Custom made jewellery - cannot be refunded or exchanged as these pieces are made to the customer's own specifications. This also applies to items displayed on the website that have been modified (shortened/lengthened etc) to the customer's own specifications. In the unlikely event that the jewellery breaks due to my workmanship, the item will be repaired free of charge up to one year after purchase. Items damaged through misuse, neglect, accident, or by 'normal' wear and tear can be repaired for a small charge.

I take pride in my work and take particular care to ensure that your piece of jewellery is of sufficient quality to be a keepsake.
I personally choose all of the beads and metals I use, purchased from reliable sources. Sterling silver wire and sheets are obtained from a silver manufacturing source in Birmingham. Bali and Karen (Thai) silver are supplied directly from the manufacturers in Bali and Thailand respectively. These are handmade by Hill-tribe people and adhere to Fair Trade policies. In the unlikely event of a breakage due to my workmanship, you can return/exchange the item within 30 days of purchase, or I will repair your item free of charge within one year of receipt. After 1 year, a small fee will be charged for the repair. If a piece of jewellery is damaged, not due to my workmanship (through misuse, 'normal' wear and tear, accident, or neglect) a small fee will be charged to cover the cost of the materials and time spent on the repair. I use the secure Protx card processing system or PayPal to process your credit/debit cards. Therefore I do not see your credit/debit card details at any time. For telephone orders, I do not retain your card details. These are destroyed once the order is completed

1. I want a piece of jewellery on your website. Can I buy directly from the website?
Yes. This website is a fully functional E-retail site. Please use the 'add to cart' button to add items to your basket. After you have added all the items you wish to buy, please use the 'view cart' button to go to secure credit card or PayPal order processing page, where you will be able to input your card and delivery address details. Can also order by telephone by calling 0800 0380 103. Please have your card details to hand.
2. I am concerned about using my credit/debit card on the internet. Is your website secure?
Yes, very! Your card details are processed by Protx (the preferred choice of several high street banks) or the PayPal payment system. No one can access your credit card details.
3. I live outside the UK, can I still buy from your website?
Of course. If your order is less than £95.00, your order will be sent by Airsure delivery (£7.00 Europe/£9.50 International). For orders of £95.00 or more, the postage is free!

5. Which payment method do you prefer?
Orders are processed quicker if you pay by card, either using the credit card payment form, PayPal or the telephone orderline. Cheques, money orders, and cash (sent at the customer's own risk) are also acceptable.
6. I live outside the UK, can I pay using my own currency?
Unfortunately I can only accept payments (cash/cheques) made in Pound Sterling. Your credit card issuer will convert your payment into British Pound Sterling for a small charge, as will Paypal. Please note that all transactions are subject to UK law.
7. I have made an order. How long will it take to receive my jewellery?
Orders received before 12 noon (BST) should be dispatched the same working day. Orders received after this time will be dispatched the next working day, unless stated otherwise in the item description (some designs can take up to 2 weeks to make and dispatch). All orders are sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery. Please allow 1 working day for the order to arrive. International customers, please allow 5-14 days to receive your jewellery. Back to top
8. I would like to have an item of jewellery custom-made to my own design. Is this possible?
Yes, I will be happy to help you. Please use my contact form to describe the type of design you require (perhaps reference similar items/components on my website) and if you have a budget. I will contact you via email to inform you whether or not it would be possible to make your design, and approximately how much it would cost. I require a 50% non-refundable deposit, to cover the cost of some of the materials.
9. I would like a piece of jewellery made to order with gold/rolled gold (gold-filled).
I can make custom items in gold. Depending on the budget, I can create a piece of jewellery using 9ct, 18ct or rolled gold.
10. I found an item on your website earlier, but didn't buy it. When I went back to your website the item had been sold. Can you recreate the same design?
Several of my pieces are one of kind and cannot be recreated due to the limited amount of materials available. However I may be able to make a very similar looking piece of jewellery for you using similar stones or colours as a custom-made piece. For limited edition pieces, I usually only have 1-2 items in stock at any given time, however I can make additional items using the same materials, if you wanted to purchase more than one of a particular design.
I'm afraid items made to order cannot be refunded or exchanged as these pieces are made to the customer's own specifications and may not be suitable for resale on the website. This also applies to items listed on the website that have been modified to the customer's own specifications. Back to top
11. What is Thai (Karen Hilltribe) and Bali silver, and how is it made?
These type of silver are totally handmade, therefore there will a slight difference between each component. Silver content in Thai silver is 0.980 or higher. Bali silver has 0.925 or higher silver content. Unfortunately it is impossible to know the exact content due to the handmade process. Both types of silver comply to Fair Trade regulations. I buy Thai silver directly from Karen tribes. Bali silver is purchases from one of their manufacturing sources in Bali itself.
12. Is the gift packaging supplied or do I have to buy it separately?
All our items are carefully packaged in a organza/velvet pouch or a gift box free of charge. You will also receive a complimentary chocolate! Back to top
13. I have purchased an item from your website, however it's not what I wanted/it doesn't suit me/the colour is wrong, etc. Can I return it?

14. I received an item less than 14 days ago, however it was accidentally broken? Can I return it?
Unfortunately, I am not able to offer refunds for misuse/accidental damage, and not due to my workmanship. However I can repair your jewellery for an additional fee. Please contact me for details.
15. I have purchased a piece of jewellery which, in my opinion, has a manufacturing fault. What should I do?
