The designer: Lilia N I was born in Perm, Russia in 1978 - a city near the Ural Mountains, with spectacular landscapes and amazing wildlife. As a child, I was always interested in anything creative, whether it was making clothes for dollies, making bead rings for my friends or collecting pretty buttons. I enjoyed rummaging through my mother's jewellery box, looking at all the necklaces and different types of stones. I met my husband whilst studying for my degree in the UK, and moved here permanently in 1999. I now live on the edge of the Cotswolds, in north Wiltshire, and have two daughters. I am a self-taught jewellery designer. At first it was just a fun past time, however more and more people expressed an interest in my designs and enquired as to whether I could make something for them. This was the birth of Lilia N. Designs! I am constantly researching new techniques and trends in jewellery design and fashion, to ensure my designs remain unique and stylish for you to wear! |

The jewellery: Each piece of jewellery on this website has been carefully hand-crafted without the use of machinery. I do not sell any items that have not been made by my own hands, with many pieces being totally unique and not repeated. Limited edition pieces are limited to a line of between 2-50 pieces only. I select all of my stones personally, paying particular attention to quality and uniqueness. My Turkish, Thai and Bali silver components are imported directly from the Far East, where each piece is manufactured by local Hill Tribe people and comply to Fair Trade regulations. As Thai and Bali silver is totally hand-crafted, there will be a slight difference between each component. Thai silver content is 0.980 or higher, Bali and Turkish silver content is 0.925 or higher. However it is impossible to know the exact silver content due to the hand-made process. I use .925 sterling silver wire to make my jewellery. I take pride in my work and take particular care to ensure your item of jewellery will be of the finest quality. In the unlikely event of a breakage, I will repair your item free of charge within one year of receipt. If a piece of jewellery is broken, not due to my workmanship, a small fee will be charged to cover the costs of materials and time spent for repair. Please contact me for a quote. |
